Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for an Operations Analyst to join our Motorsports team in Marietta, GA. 

The Operations Analyst is a diverse role that offers great visibility to all departments within the Motorsports group. The best candidate is a well-articulated, organized, pragmatically thinking “doer” who is always concerned about efficiency. The role will focus on the creation & maintenance of periodic reporting to support all departments. One must be a power user in SAP Business Objects or a comparable platform. Must also be an Excel power user familiar with writing complicated, multi- variable arguments using large data sets to make easily understood visualizations identifying trends & root causes. The Operations Analyst will also be a strong project manager, able to manage data enhancement and acquisition projects working alongside our data warehouse team.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, enhance, and troubleshoot reporting for all Motorsports departments using multiple platforms (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP BO, SAP Analytics Cloud, MS Power BI, ). This includes existing periodic reports frequent ad hoc reports requiring expert knowledge of systems, data, and visualization tools

• Work alongside the data warehouse team to enhance and even acquire new data sets

• Present findings and insights to management and top leadership aiding them in the development of ongoing business strategies

• Assist with management of company-wide MBOs (OKRs), meetings and other general project management

• Assist with the development and integration of custom sales targets. Must be familiar with budget creation concepts

• Daily /monthly reporting and analysis of company performance. Sales Program forecasting and incentive development. Twice/year support in developing misc. budgets.

• Large amounts of data will be analyzed and available through Business Objects and SAP to create various reports to executive management. Verify and maintain data in systems with ISD to ensure data is accurate. Required to handle PII as per company protocol. 

Qualifications: 

• BA / BS degree in business, data science, statistics or similar field required.

• 2 years analysis / report building experience required with record of being able to communicate complex concepts visually and verbally

• 2 years’ experience in project management strongly preferred. Must be able to multi-task and deliver with short deadlines

• Must have strong oral and written communication, planning and organization skills

• Must have expert proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

• As of 11/1/22, required to work 4 days at corporate office with Fridays reserved for remote work

• Motorsports industry experience is a plus

• Passion for Motorsports or the outdoors is a plus
