The Compensation Analyst is a critical resource on the Total Rewards Team. Under the direction of Compensation Business Partners and Compensation Directors, the Compensation Analyst independently conducts market pricing, salary studies/benchmarking, and supports strategic compensation projects, benefits benchmarking, and pay equity analysis for Members and prospective Members.

We currently have Full-Time, Part-Time and On-Demand opportunities working in either a Hybrid or Remote position within our Compensation team.

Position Expectations:

  • Cultivate Member relationships while demonstrating exceptional customer service and positioning MRA as strong strategic partner
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and thorough intake and scoping for Member projects
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, timelines and deadlines
  • Preparing Member facing deliverables, including analyses, reports, presentations and training

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Under the direction of Compensation Directors and Business Partners, evaluate positions for market competitive salary based on the content of the job and various salary survey sources ensuring that all relevant factors have been addressed such as geographic differences, and age of data. Assist with benefits benchmarking projects.
  2. Serve as the Compensation survey tool administrator and SME.
  3. Additional support including Manage projects by facilitating member meetings and presentations, responding to member questions, managing workflow, and completing projects within budget and member expectations.

Evaluate current departmental processes and provide solutions / recommendations on how to gain efficiencies for the Total Rewards team.

  1. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Additional Performance Criteria

Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree or relevant military experience and/or 1 years of HR Generalist or compensation, or benefits analyst experience

  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Proficiency in Excel--formatting data, sorting data, knowledge of Excel formulas

· Ability to develop and foster working relationships with internal customers/members to drive the growth of the business.

· Flexibility with various communication methods and work styles is a must

· Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data Ability to prioritize work to complete all assignments in line with deadlines

· Ability to organize and coordinate a large number of related and unrelated tasks and ensure that all are completed in an accurate and timely manner

· Well-developed proofreading skills and precision with details

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree or relevant military experience and/or 3 years compensation, HR, HRIS or data analysis experience

· Strong project and process management skills

· Experience with SPSS, or other statistical analysis tools

· Highly collaborative style, with strong consultative and customer-oriented skills across geographical boundaries and cultures.

· Experience using SalesForce or other CRM software
