Position Summary: This position is responsible for day to day operations of a team of Care Coordinators or Ancillary Providers and clinical oversight of the program and staff.

Personal Attributes: Follow agency Code of Conduct and Leadership Code of Conduct; adhere to established policies and procedures of the agency and of all funding sources; conduct self in an ethical manner; maintain professional and respectful relationships with program staff, other WCS staff, people being served by the program and all external persons and agencies involved with service provision; sensitivity toward a population of vast and diverse backgrounds; demonstrate commitment to agency values and mission.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A very high degree of clinical knowledge and skills and the ability to clearly communicate these to others; ability to cope with emergency situations with a highly impaired population; good supervision skills and the ability to maintain and promote positive working relationships within WCS; excellent assessment and interviewing skills; good understanding of mental health, substance use, and co-occurring needs and the effects on the people being served by the program and their families; good understanding of the substance use population; ability to support staff in difficult situations; effective use of time and resources to help maintain quality program services. Experience working with Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Services preferred.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in the office, the community and in people’s homes serving people with significant mental health, substance use and co-occurring needs; hours average at least 40 hours per week. No work on holidays or weekends, no crisis coverage.
Physical Demands: Position is located within the office and the community; requires travel throughout the community as needed. Driving throughout Milwaukee County; must be able to go up and down stairs.
Minimal Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Science or related field (psychology, educational psychology, social work, counseling, marriage, and family, etc.) and licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker is required. Supervisory experience preferred. No convictions or license revocations that would fail a caregiver background check. Valid driver’s license, automobile, and sufficient insurance to meet agency requirements.
