MRA Recruiting Services is Hiring a Digital Marketing Manager Near Madison, WI

The Alliance moves health care forward by controlling costs, improving quality, and engaging individuals in their health. As a not-for-profit, employer-owned cooperative, we exist to help our members manage their health care dollars while positively impacting their employees’ health. 

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the marketing team and digital solutions needed for marketing projects, including the website, marketing automation software, and our vendor relationship for our Find A Doctor tool. This role also manages the technical needs of marketing to support the efforts of growing Alliance membership, as well as continuing to engage existing customers to increase loyalty and advocacy within the existing membership. This position is essential to the marketing team in support of The Alliance’s strategic marketing plan. The Digital Marketing Manager interacts with and influences various stakeholders throughout the organization. 

The Responsibilities 

  • In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, grows, manages, evaluates, and develops marketing team staff.

  • Fosters and maintains efficient and effective working relationships with other departments (Business Development, Account Management, Customer Service, etc.) and key internal and external stakeholders (internal leadership, employers, brokers, TPAs, etc.) 

  • Manages the effective development and maintenance of The Alliance website and provider directory.

  • Leads management of The Alliance marketing automation software (Marketo Jumpstart) to support key functions for marketing communications, lead generation, and consumer engagement tracking.

  • Manages paid digital opportunities.

  • Assists with marketing reporting, including working cross-functionally to automate marketing reporting, and analyze and communicate marketing initiative results. Recommends best practices for tracking.

  • Supports the activities of Alliance-sponsored events, including preparing event materials, tracking campaign responses and attendance, working events, and reporting on campaign results.

  • Acts as a liaison between sales operations and marketing teams on key projects to ensure cross-team management of projects, including but not limited to Net Promoter Score (NPS), creative uploaded to CRM, CRM list syncing in Marketo, etc.

  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Account Management, Provider Relations, and other internal groups, to help meet their needs for marketing initiatives. 

The Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Information Technology with a demonstrated aptitude in technology.

  • Five to seven years of experience building and deploying campaigns and maintaining a website.

  • Previous healthcare or health benefits experience preferred.

  • Experience managing others preferred, managerial aptitude required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially listening skills, are essential.

  • Highly creative and innovative, with the ability to brainstorm, synthesize multiple concepts and think strategically.

  • Must be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and energetic with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving ability with sufficient confidence to communicate recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated expertise in using data to drive perceptions and decision-making.

  • High attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in preparing reports and interpreting financial information.

  • Knowledge and experience with related software, including Marketo, WordPress, and CRM required along with a commitment to acquiring additional knowledge.

  • The ability to work in the United States without sponsorship required.
