The Accounts Receivable Specialist will process, track, and record all payments accurately and efficiently while playing an integral role in managing the influx of cash and collections from clients. This specialist will have both day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, ensuring all details are on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
• Reconcile payments for customers, identify and resolve discrepancies
• Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding account status
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied
• Support other accounting and finance team members
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail

Experience and Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, an Associates degree in accounting, a plus
• 3 years of accounting/ AR experience
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• ERP systems experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or other)
• Exceptional communication skills – written, verbal, and listening
• B2B AR process experience
