Mr. Appliance of Ann Arbor is Hiring an Appliance Repair Technician Near Ann Arbor, MI
- Spend more time with family! Mr. Appliance operates Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. No weekends or on-call periods.
- We provide a service van, specialized tools, uniforms, I-Pad, cell phone, and ongoing training opportunities.
- Dispatch from your home if you live in/near Washtenaw County.
- Generous compensation plan combining hourly base and performance-based bonus.
- Signing bonus available for applicants with 2 years of full time appliance repair experience, EPA certification, and sealed system expertise.
- Accurately diagnose and repair major appliances in the customer's home.
- Provide a courteous and professional customer experience throughout the service call.
- Generate accurate cost estimates for repairs and collect payment using our state-of-the art mobile app.
- Professional work experience as an appliance repair technician, sealed system training and experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn the use of our mobile app and other electronic resources.
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles, ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams
- Physically able to do a job, which can require lifting 50 lbs on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs on an occasional basis, stooping, reaching and climbing.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to pass background and drug screenings.
