Social Media Marketing Associate As a member of the Branding & Communications team, you will support top branding and communications initiatives for Millennium and WorldQuant. Job Description: Branding & Communications – Social Media Marketing Associate General Information: Hiring Department/Group: Branding & Communications Job Title: Social Media Marketing Associate Office Location: New York, NY, USA Job Function Summary As a member of the Branding & Communications team, the Social Media Marketing Associate will report to the Head of Digital Marketing and serve as a key driver in Millennium and WorldQuant’s digital media strategy. This includes managing Millennium and WorldQuant’s presence across social media, search engines, Firm websites as well as advising top executives on how to build and optimize their digital identities. In this creative-meets-strategic role, this individual will liaise the Branding and Communications team to craft compelling visual and verbal brand stories to disseminate across digital channels. In addition, this individual will take a cross-divisional approach, working in close partnership with Human Resources, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance and various stakeholders to ensure the digital strategy is consistent with the Firm’s overall brand narrative and business objectives. Principal Responsibilities Liaise with other members of the Branding & Communications team to oversee the content calendar and ensure all digital content ladders up into the Firm’s strategic messaging pillars Monitor the evolving digital media landscape to identify new platforms and opportunities and track digital trends across users, platforms, marketplace peers and best-in-class brands Pitch new content series, formats, and platforms to ensure the Firm’s digital brand story is custom, targeted, and optimized for the digital landscape Regularly meet with, and identify new, digital media vendors, tools and agencies Liaise with the Head Digital Marketing and Head of Brand Marketing to create new digital assets including, but not limited to, videos, social media cards, infographics and website copy across relevant topics that are consistent with the Firm brand and the needs of the businesses Manage multiple vendor and agency relationships, where by ensuring the Firm’s brand and messaging goals are adhered to Oversee the integration of social media tools across relevant stakeholders (Branding and Communications, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Risk ) Qualifications/Skills Required Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a strong academic record 5 years of digital marketing experience at a marketing agency or in-house, preferably for a leading financial services, media company, or technology Firm Experience running paid and organic campaigns on social media platforms (e.g.: LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle time efficiently Experience managing a content calendar Excellent copywriting skills, particularly for digital media platforms Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance multiple deadlines Highly proficient in social media platforms, including understanding content best practices, social media listening, competitive analysis and data reporting Preferred Skills Proficiency with social media publishing tools (e.g.: Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Khoros) Familiarity with social media listening and measurement tools (Spredfast Intelligence, Brandwatch, Crimson Hexagon, Google Analytics) and experience extracting key metrics insights for a senior audience Ideal candidate is highly creative, has a passion for digital media, and closely follows the digital landscape to identify new brand appropriate opportunities (e.g.: Reddit, Instagram, TikTok) as they emerge Experience working on a digital employer branding strategy and direct the execution through a variety of digital channels and campaigns Experience running sponsored content campaigns with publishers and media partners Strong executive presence and experience working with senior leadership
