The CT Technologist provides quality care to patients undergoing CT procedures. Demonstrates full knowledge of CT procedures and equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate the patient experience by greeting patients, explaining pre and post procedure instructions, and verifying patient's identity. Utilize AIDET Principles in all patient and provider encounters.
• Perform CT exams using proper protocols and positioning techniques, transporting patients safely, verifying accuracy of orders and documenting patient information.
• Documenting patient's exam through data entry, report retrieval, scanning and recording the exam details in the electronic medical record system.
• Conduct environmental and safety procedures including cleaning and sterilizing the exam room and equipment. Evaluate and maintain supply levels and practice safe patient maneuvers.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge and licensure through educational workshops, professional publications and societies.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Education: Associate's Degree or Certified Radiologic Technologist; Board Certified in CT
• Experience: 1 to 3 years' experience radiologic technologist with at least 1 year training in CT
• Licensure/Certification: Board Certified RT (CT) in good standing with ARRT. CPR Certification.
• All direct hire employees of this client must be COVID-19 Vaccinated
