Learn the core of our business and help us to achieve optimal order processing and same-day shipping! VOI is looking for a full-time person to join our team to help with picking orders, auditing, and shipping.
HOURS FOR THE INVENTORY ASSOCIATE ROLE- MON - FRIDAY 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Reliable transportation is a MUST.
The Inventory Associate position will have a heavy emphasis on picking orders using our automated vertical lift systems where attention to detail, efficiency in order picking with minimal errors, and teamwork are critical.
- Use an inventory management system to accurately pick items for orders to be prepared for shipment to customers.
- Utilize bagging machines to accurately bag products to be placed in our vertical lift systems.
- Prepare pins as needed in tubes to be placed in ensuring accurate placement into our inventory management system.
Requirements
- High school or GED required.
- Great attitude with a spirit of Teamwork required!
- Previous inventory, warehouse picking, or audit experience highly preferred.
- Extreme attention to detail required. We sell thousands of different items, many extremely similar, and only differentiated by millimeters or one number or letter code difference. It can make a difference in the life or death of a pet.
- Basic computer knowledge; the machine uses software that requires the operator to type in basic commands.
- Must be able to count, sort, and work efficiently.
- Can not have an issue with transposing numbers or letters.
- Familiar with Inventory and Warehouse Management System (WMS) software a plus.
