Senior IT Manager (NYC)

OVERVIEW

Movement Strategy is looking for a proactive Senior IT Support Manager to help streamline and spearhead IT services at the Agency. You will be reporting to the Vice President of People Culture and Chief Operations Officer.

Movement Strategy is an independent social-led creative agency with a focus on digital marketing initiatives through the combined use of strategic creative and a deep knowledge of the latest social features, tools and digital trends. Now at its 10-year tenure, Movement produces groundbreaking work for partners including Warner Bros., Rice Select, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, TruTV and Klarna.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Employee assistance & troubleshooting:
• Provide remote IT support to all Agency employees regarding tools, equipment, and IT-related ways of working
• Create and support user accounts for all tech systems; including but not limited to: G-Suite, Mavenlink, Adobe, Dropbox, Slack, and Asana
• Establish onboarding / offboarding procedures to ensure all access activation and deactivation is properly executed and documented

• IT equipment, device & file management:
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records across offices via Rippling
• Assess, monitor and rollout critical software/license updates for all employees
• Order, deploy and maintain hardware and software, including: computers and accessories
• Retrieve equipment and revoke access for exiting employees (off-boarding)
• Experience remotely managing macOS devices
• System administration
• Counsel, management and oversight of file-structure systems within Agency
• IT security, processes and compliance management(Note: given your level of experience, you may lead certain responsibilities here. At the very least you are expected to help oversee third-party partners/consultants w/ the below):
• Perform an audit of potential risk/vulnerable areas for agency’s ways of working (IT); or client provided requirements
• Review client MSA and IT/network/security assessments; requirements and work to develop compliant procedures for our team to manage 
• Lead and manage new IT security measures from 3rd party consultant and assessments
• Target areas of opportunity to create IT efficiencies through policies and procedures
• Enforce security processes and guidelines across the agency
• Provide continuous updates, flags and guidelines to ever evolving IT practices as it relates to security and efficiency 
• Help Identify, establish and manage our Identity Provider system

REQUIREMENTS 

• 7 years of technical support experience
• 7 years of IT system administration experience
• Must have technical knowledge to perform an agency audit of all IT tools and practices, and be able to recommend strong security measures/improvements; or know how to liase with third party consultants to help complete this
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated self-starter that can initiate ideas and take ownership of work
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and with minimal guidance
• Strategic thinking both technically and business-wise
• Thrives on technical challenges and takes pride solving them
• Proficient using and troubleshooting Macs
• Must possess a high level of discipline while remaining flexible 
• Knowledge of best practices around data security
• Outstanding technical aptitude. Can leverage their own experience while quickly acquiring knowledge on-the-fly to troubleshoot unfamiliar systems with minimal assistance
