Movement Strategy is an independent social media agency. Now at its 13-year, with 130 employees across offices, we produce groundbreaking content for partners including Netflix, Klarna, Amazon Prime Video, Warner Bros, FX, and more.

Movement Strategy is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Art to lead a team of creatives doing best-in-class social-led creative in our LA office. You will work closely with the Creative Director and agency leadership to lead creative for our clients, help with new business, and manage a team of eager creatives. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the digital and social media space—and redefining the model for editorialized social content created by brands. 

We are looking for someone with agency experience working on large brands, with experience being the creative lead on entertainment-based clients being a plus. We are open to candidates with an art background.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Associate Creative Director, Art in our LA office, you’ll work closely with client teams to conceptualize, create, and shepherd through content. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Overseeing static and video content creation and ideation for multiple social channels including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
• Working with the internal creative team to oversee static and video content
• Conceptualizing on larger, campaign-level ideas and content
• Watching films and series and pitching digital editorial content

REQUIREMENTS

• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
• Strong content design skills including static, print, and video content
• Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator
• Proficiency with After Effects and Premiere is a major plus
• Strong knowledge of emerging social platforms
• Knowledge of the full creative process including video content creation
• Ability to oversee work from idea to execution and distribution
