Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 16 years of age is required; High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

2. Previous experience in dietary work preferred

3. Sense of responsibility, and ability to work well with residents and other staff members required

4. Ability to verbally communicate well with residents, families, and staff members.

5. Awareness of the importance of fulfilling residents’ dining needs and preferences is required; ability to relate well with residents is necessary.

Job Summary:

Dietary team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of residents by providing dietary support. This position is responsible for meal preparation for our residents in a variety of ways including preparing and serving meal, dish washing, preparing beverages, stocking, working tray line, setting tables and meal orders and plate delivery.

Job Duties:

1. May serve plates to residents in dining room/diner, making sure residents receive food and items that they order so they are able to enjoy their meal(s)

2. Clear, clean and set tables for next meal

3. Prepare and pour beverage during mealtime.

4. Clear food and prepare serving area

5. Assist in cleaning duties as assigned by dietary manager. Such as kitchen and serving areas.

6. Assist with care and maintenance of kitchen equipment

7. Follow standards set forth in accordance with approved facility policies.

Shifts: 6 am - 2 pm, 7 am - 3 pm and 4 pm- 9 pm. Includes weekends and holidays
