Leverage application engineering tools and processes to support field requests for technology solutions beyond product. Stay up to date on key power generation market trends, their drivers, and how we might respond from a technical innovation perspective. Be a technical leader regarding solutions application. Provide technical support, guidance, examples, and other technical arguments?to support and influence customer solutions. Work closely with team members and/or customers to help integrate a genset into a customer's electrical grid for any type of application. Use data and experience to provide technical help on genset selection and product capability requests from Sales and Distributors. Leverage and Support Sales Application Engineering tools to help Sales and Distribution win more business. Ensure products are applied and installed correctly to meet customer requirements and environmental needs. Available to train and coach less experienced engineers. Coordinate and direct work amongst technicians. Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating strategic relationships, and achieving sales targets. Demonstrated success in understanding technical needs and providing effective solutions to major accounts. Proficiency with MS Office suite programs such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics. Strong communication and organizational abilities.
