We are looking for you to join our team as Regional General Manager. Motivate has an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who takes ownership of operational success as the Regional General Manager for our growing bikeshare systems in both Chicago and Washington DC, some of the largest bikeshare systems in the country. As the Regional General Manager, your primary responsibility entails oversight of operations to ensure achievement of both company and client goals, targets, and standards. You have direct ownership for leading, developing, and engaging the operations management teams to success. About the Role Full ownership for all aspects of system operations, including full budget, operational plan, and P&L responsibility, achieving / exceeding expected margins through revenue generation and cost management Strong client relationship management to deliver against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and facilitate growth within the market Drive continuous improvement, developing and leading innovative programs that audit, measure, and drive productivity, standardization, and process improvements to increase performance and address deficiencies Lead, coach, and develop operations leaderships teams, overseeing multiple operations teams with an emphasis on productivity, training and development, and employee engagement About You You bring both education and experience to the table: Bachelor’s degree in business or related; with at least 10 years of progressive leadership and successful operations management, including a complex matrix of functions and departments and a large workforce. Prior experience in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, and/or warehouse with a union environment You focus on the numbers: P&L ownership to include developing the annual operating plan, budget variance analysis, and revenue recognition, with demonstrated results in efficiency, cost management and profit generating opportunities You use analytics to make decisions: Data-driven with experience interpreting and manipulating raw data using various tools. Create, analyze, and manage to KPIs and metrics You think of solutions others may not: Ability to solve issues based on best practices and process improvement methodologies, using critical thinking, analysis, and effective problem-solving techniques, to arrive at innovative solutions You know that people are the key to success: Natural leader who understands the value of people, you build and develop a team of top talent, holding them accountable, establishing positive communication channels, leading by example, engaging their ideas, and optimizing their performance You value leadership: Experience being a leader of leaders.
