Spheara seeks to hire Mobile Service Technicians who will be responsible for providing best-in-class customer service while performing repairs on e-moped scooters, electric trikes, and delivery trailers in the field. The right person for the job will be comfortable working autonomously in a combination of state-of-the-art mobile repair vans and on-site customer remote warehouse locations. About the Position Provide an incredible customer experience under all conditions Light-Electric Vehicle (e-bikes, scooters) assembly, inspection, repair, and complete overhaul- must be able to quickly become proficient in servicing customized vehicles. Document customer interactions and service/repairs including productivity and satisfaction levels, as well as any issues that need escalation. Invoice client repairs in both real-time and on a monthly cycle Accurately manage inventory levels Work unsupervised in remote locations with a high level of productivity About You You bring expertise: with previous experience as a mechanic in a high-volume environment You communicate effectively: with strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening to customers, and a high attention for detail and follow-through You exhibit flexibility: willing to work off-hours and/or weekends, based on the needs of the company; familiar with NYC geography and able to work in all 5 boroughs as needed You value safety: safely and comfortably driving a large vehicle throughout the metropolitan area; have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; work with a focus on safety and follow all safety regulations and policies/procedures You can do this: ability to lift and carry to 70 pounds, reach, stoop, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday About Us Spheara is a mobile, light-electric vehicle shop concierge service and a contracted vendor for maintenance and repair.
