POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' QA Analyst/Lead role reports to the Digital Transformation (DT) Senior Program Manager and will support the DT Team by working closely with development, business analysts, consultants, and other Quality Assurance team members to create and execute test plans and test cases in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner. The individual will also help build a QA team made up of FTE and/or consultants that will allow us to scale as demand for QA activities grow. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and the desire to grow and learn.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the DT team to support release planning, estimation, testing of purchased applications as well as inhouse solutions
• Ability to manage, train and mentor QA resources (internal and external)
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of QA principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards
• Collaborate with the DT team to develop quality policies and best practices
• Develop, deploy, and maintain test automation scripts for the purpose of regression and performance testing
• Assist in support activities to users and DT team during the entire process from development to release
• Provide testability/QA feedback to product development and implementations through participation in design and development reviews
• Responsible for defect / issue tracking, communication, and resolution
• Test, document, and debug application patches and upgrades
• Create, revise, review, and approve quality-related documents, including but not limited to procedures, memoranda, protocols, batch records and reports
• Assist in management of ERP implementation and integration projects as it pertains to DT
• Multitask and manage competing priorities while meeting production timelines

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience with various test levels (system integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance)
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
• Ability to create test plans and map requirements/user stories to test cases
• Experience with information technology and quick to learn new applications and software
• 5 years’ experience in Software testing; 2 years of management experience in quality for Manager position
• Working knowledge of all MS Office applications (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Organization and Time Management skills a must
