MOSAIC is seeking a Network Engineer to support a contract in the San Antonio, TX area.

Position Overview:

Using your experience and expertise, you will provide overall network engineering support to the USAF. In addition, you will:

• Configure web services; monitor status and make updates as needed
• Design and build the information technology framework or environment
• Guide information technology technical projects
• Identify, manage, measure, and maximize reuse, and manage changes to the IT architecture
• Keep IT architecture up-to-date by reviewing and introducing changes based on project requirements
• Collaborate with technical and application teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions to support project requirements
• Design and integrate various functions of network and telecommunications equipment into functional systems
• Document equipment layout with regard to power, cooling, security, and functionality
• Understand and integrate serial and IP encryptions into networks and systems, as necessary
• Understand emerging telecommunications trends and technologies and implement new technologies as appropriate
• Integrate appropriate installation hardware such as equipment racks and necessary cabling
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Professional experience as a Network Engineer
• Training in Linux , NET , Firewall configuration, Red Hat
• Familiarity with the following software: Juniper, PFSense, OpenNebula, Elastic Kibana, Zentayl, FreeIPA
• IAT II certification
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required
