As the Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to Mosaic’s corporate support functions. Everyday you will lead routine cost reporting, lead meetings with functional leadership and employees, and provide direct support to function Vice Presidents and their employees for ad hoc analysis and projects. In addition, you will lead the global budget process for support functions, provide support for the strategic planning process, provide both support and leadership roles in a number of value-add projects and process improvements for the support functions. What will you do? Lead routine reporting approaches for the various corporate support functions, which includes understanding the needs of the function leader and their respective mangers. Lead routine meetings and gather, analyze, and present meaningful information. Maintain accountability for foundational reporting with special attention to the quality of information and analysis provided as well as the efficiency in which it is processed. Identify and lead process improvement efforts. Lead the budget and forecast processes for the global support functions, which includes the entire corporate function. Execute related process improvements, and meet the expectations for analysis of costs and FTE levels. Provide indirect support to the forecast, Strategic Planning process, and other deliverables required by FP&A and Management. Work with the corporate support functions, to identify cost savings, service improvements, and other value-add opportunities. Gather information and create analysis that will yield improvements that are meaningful to customers. Build relationships and network with customers at all levels within the functional organizations. Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics 5 years of experience in finance or other related experience Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices Broad understanding of internal controls Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with intermediate Excel skills Deep spreadsheet skills and database management abilities Demonstrated problem-solving skills Ability to maintain the “big picture” while also being able to “drill down” into the detailed analysis Ability to effectively work and build relationships with employees at all levels within the organization Ability to partner with and challenge the business Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities Adept at meeting established deadlines with a strong sense of urgency Process improvement orientation Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills Ability to think creatively with an ability to create innovative solutions Bonus Points if You Have the Following: Experience with data analysis methodologies Experience with SAP Experience with PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud or other data visualization tools Mosaic is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
