USmax is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist (SharePoint) to support the Department of the Air Force's Information Management Directorate (SAF/AAIE). SAF/AAIE is the organization at Headquarters Air Force (HAF) trusted to assist offices with streamlining tasks, improving processes, and analyzing options available for a specific problem set. SAF/AAIE is using Microsoft 365 tools as they become available in secure environments to create efficiencies for government resources.
The Knowledge Management Specialist (SharePoint) works with SharePoint Online, to deliver solutions to HAF organizations. SharePoint Specialist will work on teams with requirements analysts, testers, tech leads, and project managers and will use Agile principles. Team may be in development mode to build out new applications, to working on maintenance tasks on already existing apps. May also be asked to engage in new technologies as they become available. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze how users access and organize information and implement processes that streamline and simplify information management and collaboration in SharePoint.
• Configure and develop SharePoint solutions using technologies and web development skills to include CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, REST API.
• Work within a controlled and repeatable SDLC managed using agile methodologies.
• Use existing software development tools in conjunction with agile methodologies to include Microsoft Visual Studio Code, and Configuration Management principles.
• Work with project managers and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements. Ability to document architecture and design considerations.
• Develop SharePoint solutions in Microsoft O365, including PowerApps, Power Automate highly desired.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
• SharePoint Online experience.
• Database concepts experience.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications a plus.
