Service Plumber – Night Shift

Make $90,000 to over $150,000 as a Service Plumber at Morris-Jenkins!

Your Role

As a Service Plumber, you’ll:

• Perform diagnostic repair service calls. When someone’s plumbing is wreaking havoc, you’ll swoop in to save the day!
• Address customer concerns. You’ll make friends. And you’ll get paid for it. Sometimes, people get a bit stressed when their plumbing is acting up, but you know just the words to say to put them at ease! You’ll make sure they’re happy and confident in you and in Morris-Jenkins.

• Hand off larger repairs to plumbing installers. You can focus on the things you do best and leave the big, time-consuming installs (water heater replacements, re-pipes, etc.) to the plumbing installation team. That way, you can move on to your next call, where you can let your strengths shine!

*The $10,000 sign-on bonus will be paid in two lump sums added to your regular paycheck. The first $3,000 will be made when you're hired, and the remaining $7,000 will be paid on the first pay day after you've reached 90 days of employment. 

The Super-Fun HR Stuff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Service Plumber:

• 3 years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, filtration, gas lines, gas logs, and drain cleaning

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers

• Knowledge of drain machines, camera and locator equipment

• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools

• High School Diploma or GED

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for Service Plumbers:

• Valid North Carolina Plumbing Contractor (P1 or P2)

• Valid North Carolina Journeyman license

• Valid South Carolina LLR Plumbing Contractor License

• Valid South Carolina MASC Master Plumber Certification
