Position Summary: The primary focus of this position is to provide strategic support for high priority initiatives of Institutional Consulting Group. The individual fulfilling this role will identify growth opportunities for the business and devise strategies to capitalize on them. Primary responsibilities will include strategic analysis, creating and delivering presentations to senior management, acting as a liaison between internal partners, and assisting in the execution of key strategic priorities. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical and problem solving, quantitative, communication, presentation, and project management skills who is capable of multitasking across several large projects to achieve outstanding results. Key Responsibilities of the Role: * Assist to define, plan, manage and deliver strategic initiatives and projects related to the institutional business, with a focus on business analytics and metrics* Work with cross functional teams to document, manage on a regular cadence and report on ICS strategy updates* Think critically about existing work streams and processes; participate in brainstorming and contribute to solution efforts* Work with multiple stakeholder and end user groups to communicate strategy and facilitate collection of feedback* Analyze data to identify opportunities for prospect and corporate client engagement* Assist in producing quality presentations that provide visual storytelling with supporting details for management at various levels* Day-to day management of issues, escalations and reconciliation processes related to the institutional business* Identify and develop metrics in support of a variety of projects for our centralized teams and platform adoption Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required along with 5 years of experience in financial services* Strong project management skills* Strong analytical and creative skills with advanced ability in data visualization* Advanced skills in Excel and strong understanding of database management* Communication/presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint* Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines* Detail-oriented yet able to focus on big-picture business unit objectives . Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
