Job Description

Summary

Our Regional General Managers are in a critical position and are part of the top operational leadership. They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business needs within their region, including managing the P&L, helping set the strategic direction and expansion of the region as well as hiring, building, and managing a team. The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter, someone who is dynamic, entrepreneurial, motivating individual willing to come in and revolutionize their assigned area. 

Responsibilities

  • Work as a true partner with the managing partner lawyers for the department, as well as your peers and fellow associates, to carry out the firm's vision and future
  • Effectively plan to provide a framework for the development of the business, including business goals, marketing, service, product, customer satisfaction, and team management and development 
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance relative to budget goals and objectives
  • Maintain a clear understanding of business needs, and by working closely with Marketing, utilize effective resources to raise litigation awareness and generate valuable leads for the department
  • Ensure that the value our firms delivers to our clients matches their needs effectively and that we reach and maintain desirable client satisfaction scores within your assigned area
  • Guarantee the team is fully equipped to achieve their targets by ensuring they have necessary vision, training, technology, and support
  • Identify staff and skills requirements; Working closely with recruiting, forecast and plan staffing needs to match business demand
  • Implement all procedures for operations, call center finance, human resources, client satisfaction, training, and product
  • Provide appropriate leadership to promote positive employee morale and performance culture, in accordance with the firm's culture and vision
  • Report and communicate department goals and progress to appropriate stakeholders

Preferred Experience & Attributes:

  • 4-6 years of corporate experience directly managing other people (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related fields (required)
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • A people-first approach to problem solving that is rooted in analytics and creativity
  • Experience working in a Salesforce environment (preferred)
  • Successful delivery of projects through the management and coordination of resources
  • An appreciation that strategy is only as impactful as its execution and follow-through
  • An understanding of when to lead and when to be a team player
