The CIO Office team is responsible for setting the IT Strategy, defining the IT Operating Model, setting architecture standards, ensuring information security and compliance, managing the Project Portfolio and leading programs and projects.
The Project Management Organization is responsible for delivering change initiatives successfully through well-controlled project methodologies and execution skills
• Shape effective and efficient projects from initial ideas and requirements to ensure successful delivery of business goals• Ensure clear and measurable business benefits with clear ownership and benefit realisation plan• Define and establish project steering committee • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of Seniority up to Exec level• Define full project plan that support business goals in collaboration with key stakeholders • Work with capability domain managers and vendors to identify and acquire resource capacity and capabilities• Work with architecture to ensure that standards are implemented consistently in projects • Work with security to ensure that projects comply to the appropriate security policy • Work with service delivery management to ensure successful service transition plan into operations• Define and execute effective Change and Communication plan to ensure positive stakeholder engagement and project adoption • Ensure conditions are in place for successful project delivery against plan • Lead by example to engage and motivate project team to guarantee successful delivery• Set and continually manage project expectations and progress with team members, Steering Committee and other stakeholders on an ongoing basis• Ensure compliance of the managed projects with respect to the IT operating model• Proactively manage scope, timelines, milestones, budget, issues and risks using appropriate tools• Manage (significant) deviations from project plan with Steering Committee, proposing informed decisions • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management (e.g. Agile and Waterfall)• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise programme / project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.• Conduct post project reviews in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and support continuous learning
• Bachelor or Master degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study• Excellent Project Management skills and a proven track record of successful project implementation• Project Management Certification (Prince, IPMA, PMI)• Experience of IT Applications Project Delivery • Knowledge of mainstream business processes, like Supply Chain, Finance, Sales & Marketing etc• Great Stakeholder management, communication, people management and leadership skills
