TITLE: Logistics Customer Service Rep

Moran Transportation Corporation provides regional, less than truckload (LTL) services throughout the states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Missouri markets. Moran Transportation Corporation has an immediate opening for a Part-Time CUSTOMER SERVICE REP at our Roscoe, Illinois office.

Shift available: Part-Time

Monday thru Friday 12:00pm – 5:00pm

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Resolve and process all related customer inquiries

· Answer inbound calls & emails in a professional & timely manner

· Organize delivery appointments

· Assist the operations team

· Data entry

· Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers

Essential Functions:

· High volume phone calls & emails from external customers

· Provide excellent & considerate customer service to customers and drivers

Perform other duties as assigned 

Requirements

• High School diploma / GED required
• 1-2 years High Volume phone calls in an office/trucking environment
• Previous freight experience is required within the trucking/transportation industry, import experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Any other ad hoc duties as defined by your Manager
• Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities
