GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of the housekeeping supervisor, is responsible for maintaining all carpet and hard floor surfaces by following proper procedures and operating appropriate equipment.

ESSENTIALS OF JOB:

• Maintains all hard floor surfaces including dust mopping, wet mopping and buffing. (constantly)
• Maintains carpet floor surfaces including spot cleaning as well as deep extraction. (frequently)
• Sets up and breaks down tables and chairs for special events. (occasionally)
• Maintains equipment and supplies. (constantly)
• Maintain trash on the outside facility and inside. (frequently)
• Must use personal protective equipment (PPE). (occasionally)
• Must be able to work with chemicals and be able to use carpet cleaner, vacuum, etc. (frequently)
• Must be able to work overtime when needed. (occasionally)
• Perform other related duties as assigned. (seldom)
• Must be able to commit the time necessary from an attendance and punctuality standpoint to accomplish the above specified Essentials of Job. (constantly) Contributes to the ongoing process of establishing and meeting departmental and BCS goals and objectives. Participates in utilizing customer feedback to measure and improve effectiveness of service level.
