Montgomery’s is growing and we are excited to add a Part-time Handyman / Maintenance Tech to our team at the Sioux Falls store location.

Recently retired and looking for a part time gig to stay busy. Experienced handy man looking to make some extra money.

This position requires a self-starter that can take direction and work independently with meticulous attention to detail. Problem solving along with strong communication skills are critical.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and have a current driver’s license with clean driving record
• Experience with facilities maintenance a plus
• Experience with framing, drywall and painting
• General handyman repairs skills, including light electrical
• Team player willing to assist and help the big team be successful daily
• Some travel may be required to help out other facilities as needed for coverage or events that require extra assistance

Duties:

• Perform a variety of basic plumbing, maintenance, carpentry, dry wall installation / repair and painting in our facilities
• Perform basic repairs to the interior and exterior of all facilities including Dryvit, roofing, and parking lot maintenance
• Install, hang, and reposition light fixtures in our showrooms
• Responsible for minor landscaping and some snow removal at facilities
• Gardening of flowers and maintenance of the flower beds
• Other duties as assigned
