At Cantera MSOSV, our fully implemented Montessori programs are designed to cultivate each child’s natural desire to learn; acquire and master skills; discover responsibility and cooperation; and foster strong, positive feelings about oneself and others. Our programs focus on developing a child’s creativity, while developing problem solving, social and time management skills within a classroom community.
We are seeking individuals with a love of early childhood looking to work part time hours and assist in the Infant and Toddler Communities. Perfect for someone looking to begin in the field or who would like to spend time caring for our youngest of children.
Responsibilities Include:
- supporting teacher's lunch breaks
- Assisting in our Pre-Primary Community - 1:6 ratio - up to 12 children
Ideal Candidates for Assistant/Aide Roles:
- Experience or desire to work with young children
- Seeks continuous opportunities to grow as a person and educator
- Likes working on a team of with others who love what they do
- Wants to learn more about Montessori education
Hours are Part-Time Monday thru Friday 11 am to 4:30 pm
Compensation: $18-$20 hour -Depends of education and experience
