Director of Maintenance Services
Monte Vista Estates of Monte Vista, CO is seeking an experienced full time Maintenance Director to be responsible for the general maintenance of all common areas, resident rooms, facility grounds, equipment & mechanical systems. Must be available on-call for evenings and weekends for emergency. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of CO fire and life safety rules, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping as well as a desire to enhance the lives of others. Responsibilities would include; daily building inspection and maintenance, painting and repairs, ongoing staff training on fire safety and emergency situations, oversight of outside services that include fire systems, HVAC, and contractors, budget management and record keeping, ability to maintain compliance with various federal, state and local agencies. Computer skills to submit information into the maintenance program is a must. Assisting with driving to and from appointments as needed.

This is a full time position Monday – Fridays and must be available to be on call for emergencies.

Experience in senior housing or property management preferred.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a clean driving record.

Pay depends on experience.
