We are seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to join our team today! This will be a remote opportunity based centrally in Central or North East Coast of United States.
The Regional Facilities Manager manages all facility operations and capital projects in their region. This position will ensure that all buildings and vehicles are properly maintained and will self-perform or work with facility staff or outsourced contractors to perform these services. They will work with regional and clinical directors to set priorities and manage the maintenance and capital budgets. The Regional Facilities Manager will work with new site management to develop preventative maintenance plans, negotiate contracts with vendors and help prepare the site for The Joint Commission surveys. They will train facility staff on maintenance requirements, perform routine site inspections, and report any issues to regional and facility staff.
• Routinely inspect the properties and monitor maintenance requests to determine any required maintenance or repairs.• Work with Program Managers to maintain written records of all required preventative maintenance for each site and vehicle.• Oversee all outside building contractors, including maintenance, landscaping, snow plowing, and custodial services.• Manage the inventory of building maintenance and housekeeping supplies.• Work with Program Managers on fire safety and evacuation issues; maintain up-to-date records for all semi-annual and annual inspections; maintain the plan for fire evacuation, disaster response, and hurricane preparedness; provide training to new and existing employees.• Prepare annual capital budgets for programs in conjunction with regional directors and clinical leadership.• Manage capital improvement projects at existing sites.• Use strong analytical skills to manage complex projects and resolve issues as they arise.• Develop relationships with colleagues and project stakeholders, gain the cooperation of others, communicate effectively regarding complex information, and negotiate terms and conditions with contractors and vendors.• Maintain relationships with landlord representatives at leased sites, ensure required maintenance and inspections are completed, and records are available for state and Joint Commission inspections.• Work closely with the VP of Facilities, Regional Director, facility Program Managers, and Clinical Directors.• Manage contractors and design professionals• Maintain good relationships with landlords and governmental authorities.• This is a remote position that requires approximately 50% travel to facility locations. • Perform all other tasks as assigned
• Associate’s Degree in a related field or trade license; • Education may be waived for candidate with 7 years of facilities management experience• A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or related field• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
