We seek a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitionerto join our multidisciplinary team at Rosewood Outpatient Clinic of Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders, a Monte Nido Affiliate. We treat adolescents with the most severe eating disorders at our beautiful clinic based out of Tempe, Arizona. We welcome Nurse Practitioners at all career-levels!
This position will be Part Time on-site, 8 hours/day.
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations.
Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions.
Maintain current and correct progress notes.
Psychotropic medication management.
Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed.
Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
Provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program.
- Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP.
Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible.
Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services.
New graduates are welcome; experience is highly desired, and we consider clinical rotations and/or practica to be clinical experience.
