Job Summary
The IT Manager’s role is to ensure a streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with Monroe Tractor’s business objectives. The IT Manager will plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT related activities of the company, as well as provide direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Manager will work closely with Monroe Tractor management as well as outside resources to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost effective technology solutions for all aspects of the company. The IT Manager must be committed to the success of the business.
Essential Functions:
Lead, develop and support the IT Department operational & strategic planning
Maintain and manage all MT helpdesk activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise and deliver solutions to enhance the quality of service as well as to prevent future problems.
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PC’s, laptops, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
Oversee the provision of all end-user services and needs as they relate to IT systems, including helpdesk and technical support services. The IT Manager should always strive to provide help and timely support to all associates.
The IT Manager will provide satisfaction to all associates through the implementation of set standards and to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of all associate issues.
Work to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
Manage all mobile devices and wireless activity through Verizon, including wireless phones, smartphone, and broadband devices. Maximize costs and effectiveness of plan.
Manage and maintain corporate phone, email, and security systems.
Support all company authorized software other than specific business applications within PFW Dealer Business System.
Maintain remote access for WLAN using VPN
Manage, schedule, and perform all system backups and data recoveries in conjunction with outsourcing agreements.
