Your Role

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for crew accountability at Monolith’s Olive Creek plant located in Hallam, Nebraska while their crew is on shift. They will drive day to day priorities at the plant ensuring a safe, effective, and productive organization.

You Will

• Provide leadership and track day-to-day priorities of the plant, driving results and building a culture of operational excellence, integrity, and commitment to safety
• Lead difficult plant scenarios and drive conversations to an agreed solution with SME’s
• Responsible for operational signoffs to perform work
• Start up support on shift
• Responsible for ensuring all crew members are appropriately trained and have sufficient knowledge for all tasks
• Build and maintain a positive work environment that supports and fosters high employee engagement, involvement, and accountability
• Collaborate with various departments of the organization to ensure the overall objectives of the organization are achieved
• Pull together crafts and cross department groups for troubleshooting and support as needed.
• Provide prompt feedback on job performance and conduct employee performance reviews
• Set expectations and hold crew accountable to them
• Own shift logs and communication of information to the operations team and larger organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant plant. Ensure continuous compliance with operating and environmental permits.
• Performs other duties as needed.

You Have

• High school diploma, and
• 5 years of experience in the chemical processing industry, or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully preform the job duties and responsibilities.
• Leadership or training experience strongly preferred

You Are

• Strong leadership, communication, team building, and advanced coaching skills required.
• Computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products
• A proven track record of a high level of safety awareness and conviction required.

Your Work Environment

This position is leading a team of operations team members in an industrial work environment.

Travel

Travel will be required up to 10% - 15% of the time. Lincoln/Hallam, NE area residency required.
