Job Summary

The Project Manager will oversee technical projects, including management of personnel, budget, and scheduling to deliver a successful project outcome, including safety and risk mitigation plans. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across all areas of the project to interpret the needs, expectations, and limitations of each, and bring them together with the aim of successful project deliveries. The Project Manager will also define the assigned projects' objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will….

  • Prepare and execute on strategies and project plans for engineering and technical projects, including monitoring progress, resolving issues, budgets, coordinating schedules, status reporting and all tasks associated with the project and coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Organize project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and resolve resource requirements.
  • Guide and mentor direct reports through all aspects of project development and execution.
  • Collaborate with various groups such as engineering, operations, maintenance, safety to define project scope.
  • Manage plant project backlog.
  • Oversee detailed planning of projects leveraging both internal and external resources.
  • Facilitate multi-discipline design review meetings.
  • Management of Change Ownership
  • Seek funding approval for given projects.
  • Coordinate construction activities
  • Commission new systems or installations.
  • Execute on redesign on reliability projects to include drawings, schedule, and budget outline.
  • Deliver cost savings identified through project alternative comparison.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders to execute projects.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience

You Have…

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • Preferred Minimum of four years of related work experience in industrial project execution and/or management.
  • Demonstrated ability to read/understand plans and specifications
  • Demonstrated experience of organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid knowledge in the application of reliability tools.
  • Root cause analysis.
  • Avoidance of single point of failure (SPOF).
  • Functional analysis and functional failure analysis (e.g., function FMEA, FHA or FFA).
  • Project Management Program (PMP) certificate preferred.
  • Industrial reliability experience.

Production site. 75% climate controlled indoor environment, 25% field.
