Monogram Health Renal Services is Hiring a Healthcare Economics Analyst Near Brentwood, TN

Position: Healthcare Economics Analyst

The Healthcare Economics Analyst is a key analytic and reporting resource within Monogram Health who contributes to the development of business-driven reports and analytics used to support senior leadership decision making. The Healthcare Economics Analyst will also support data quality processes used to verify the completeness of monthly data files. In addition, the healthcare economics analyst will provide key support in the report automation process.

The Healthcare Economics Analyst reports directly to the Vice President of Medical Economics and Risk and works closely with the Operations, Finance, IT and Salesforce teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze data, present results and recommend solutions to solve problems and address business challenges by applying a knowledge of medical claims analysis, critical-thinking skills and healthcare experience/expertise
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Write SQL queries to support creation of end-user reports while applying analytical techniques to solve business problems.
  • Ensure credibility and usability of claims data prior to delivery of analytic results.
  • Create presentations, dashboards and other tools to support visualization of data for use by business leaders either internally or with customers
  • Work on developing strong trusting relationships with senior business leaders to identify opportunities for additional report development
  • Support Monogram as necessary with any tasks required to deliver excellent personalized kidney care and perform all other duties as assigned
  • Uphold the mission and values of Monogram Health in all aspects of your role and activities

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field required
  • 2-5 years of experience working as an analyst in the healthcare industry specifically working with medical claims, membership and provider data.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly self-motivated
  • Deep understanding of medical claims, value-based care arrangements and financial outcomes
  • Ability to analyze and interpret medical claims data through complex analysis supporting operational and strategic business decision making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience programming SQL, and expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI required
  • Experience building reports in Salesforce preferred
