OVERVIEW

The Purchase Money and Assumption Mortgage Loan Originator is responsible for handling inbound, outbound and digital lead opportunities focused on driving sales volume specifically focused on Purchase Money and Assumption originations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle inbound and outbound calls along with follow-up on digital lead opportunities.

Solicit prospective Purchase Money mortgage loans from a captive portfolio of residential mortgage customers.

Complete loan applications according to established company and regulatory guidelines.

Send, receive and review application and disclosure packages from borrowers.

Produce a management determined volume of mortgage business.

Utilize systems for maintaining product knowledge and pipeline management.

Understand and articulate financial calculations and current rate/pricing.

Use excellent follow-up skills to ensure targeted conversion rates are met

Partner with operations teams to ensure the seamless transfer of files.

Monitor and update customer relationship management database

Cross-sell other products and services including brokerage

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

3 years prior mortgage industry sales experience

Previous business or sales experience is required

Call center or telemarketing experience preferred

Bachelors Degree preferred

3 years of Purchase Money Mortgage Sales experience

Must be self- motivated with high energy and a positive attitude.

Must have excellent phone etiquette with articulate use of the English language. ?Bilingual or multi-lingual preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, follow-up, and relationship building skills.

Detail oriented and results driven with a focus on customer service

Excellent written and communication skills as well as the ability to use different computer software programs related to loan origination and customer relationship management.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATION

Multiple NMLS State Licenses
