Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations and ensuring efficient workflow. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office management, and a customer service-oriented mindset. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Manage office communications, including answering phones, responding to emails, greeting visitors, run errands, and assisting the founder of the organization.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Assist with insurance billing and claims.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory and ordering as necessary

Experience

  • Proven experience in an administrative role or office management is preferred.
  • Enter, maintain, and update patient records using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient files.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience as a receptionist or in a similar healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
