Mom's Meals is Hiring an Inventory Data Analyst Near Grinnell, IA
- Work with Inventory and Operations Managers to understand business processes and analysis needs
- Develop and maintain proficiency in using and reporting out of AX inventory system and using MS Office software
- Conduct post-mortem analytical projects including pulling, manipulating, and exporting data to develop reports and analyses
- Interpret data and analyze results using analytical methods and statistical techniques
- Partner with team members across the organization to develop reports and actionable insight
- Help develop roadmaps for improving data workflows and processes
- Monitor for performance indicators and provide ongoing reports and analysis
- Ensure good communication and problem solving with Inventory/Warehouse team and other departments as needed
- May provide back-up assistant to team members
- Experience building reports and tools to support a team; high proficiency using Excel and other reporting & analysis tools
- Must speak and read English fluently
- Must take initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical skills with collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to present findings in a polished manner
- Able to prioritize and multi-task
- Problem solving skills and ability to adapt well to changing situations and needs
- Demonstrated commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety rules
- Coursework or degree in computer science, inventory management, statistics, business management, or related
- 2 years in a role utilizing inventory data analysis skills
- Food manufacturing experience
- Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
- Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
