In this role, the candidate will help shape the future of Moloco by designing thoughtful learning experiences to upskill and reskill our global workforce. They will support the internal mobility of employees as well as the education of our clients. 

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

The Instructional Designer will work with the Learning and Development team to develop goals, objectives, and curriculum to meet Moloco’s business needs. This includes conducting needs analysis and prioritizing, designing, publishing, and revising scalable learning solutions in partnership with subject matter experts. 

Short-term priorities will include:

  • New hire orientation and onboarding 
  • Overview of Moloco’s products, technologies, and customers

Long-term priorities will include:

  • Department and role onboarding 
  • Revising and building out content for Moloco University, sample content may include topics such as Machine Learning, Retail Media Platforms, Advertising Technology (AdTech) 101, Diversity and Inclusion

Here is what you need to succeed (Experience & Qualifications)

A successful candidate for this position will be a lifelong learner who is committed to continuous improvement. They will be an active listener, inclusive team player, and self-starter.

  • Effectively collaborate with subject matter experts

  • Translate complex concepts for varying audiences 

A strong candidate for this role will likely have experience:

  • Teaching and training adult learners 
  • Creating accessible learning experiences 
  • Managing multiple projects
  • Instructional design models 
  • Design tools, such as eLearning authoring, graphic, audio, mind mapping, whiteboard, project management, and survey tools
  • Overseeing the lifecycle of content (e.g., conducting a needs analysis, scripting and storyboarding; creating, publishing, and revising content)
  • A baseline understanding of machine learning and/or advertising technology
