We are looking for experienced Coax Splicers in the New Jersey area.

As a Coax Splicer, you will use your skills and best practices to upgrade existing HFC cables and perform coaxial splicing while working in a dynamic environment!

Responsibilities:

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable;
• Optimize new nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity;
• Perform upgrades to existing HFC (hybrid fiber-coaxial) cables;
• Monitors and supports critical network elements to maintain the continuous operation of network and system infrastructure;
• Building and repairing system-wide oversight and quality control of network signal processing;
• Troubleshoots and repairs problems with transmission levels, and equipment failures to include network analysis, headend and outside plant construction and integrity, technical leadership of outside plant construction, personnel, and all relevant;
• Perform routine maintenance and major repair to distribution systems.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of Coaxial Splicing experience;
• Proven knowledge of HFC network systems;
• A valid, unrestricted Driver's License;
• Ability to pass the background check and drug test;
• Ability to travel to different job sites;
• Ability to safely climb poles, towers, ladders, etc.
