What Will You Do?
You will report to the Global Product Engineering Director. You will work within the Engineering Department to manage Engineers and CAD Designers responsible for the development, and documentation related to Coolers products. You will manage the development and transfer of technology including products that span across Climate Solution Regions (Americas, EMEA, and Asia). This position will be on-site 5 days per week at our plant in Grenada, Mississippi.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel can be expected up to 20% of the time to other Modine locations or customer sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be an Engineering Leader and technical expert for the Coolers group within the North American Coolers Organization.
- Lead Development of new products for the Power & Process and Commercial Refrigeration Products
- Design and rating of complex cooling units for power and process applications and refrigeration
- Prepare technical data and drawings for both customers and production.
- Manage projects from design to finished goods.
- True cost analysis for current and new product platforms for Coolers
- Responsible for performance management of team through development plans and target setting.
- Develop and meet timelines for product designs and product transfers between production facilities.
- Ensure products meet appropriate standards, such as UL, ASME, AHRI, and ASHRAE
- Communicate with other Modine regions, CS manufacturing locations, and customers to assure a smooth transition from one region to another with global product development.
- Travel to other regions and customer sites if needed (20%).
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 of those years being a manager.
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD systems and FEA & CFD software.
- Knowledge of heat exchanger products.
- Experience with internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of thermal and fluid dynamics would be beneficial.
