Pennichuck Water Works Inc. is Hiring a Meter & Inventory Clerk Near Nashua, NH
Our Company Pennichuck Corporation is engaged primarily in the collection, storage, treatment, distribution and sale of potable water in southern and central New Hampshire. We have two business segments: regulated water utility operations and non-regulated water management services. Our Distribution facility is located in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Inventory & Meter Clerk In this position, you would be responsible for the daily monitoring of the inventory to ensure the necessary parts are readily available for routine and emergency work orders. This includes; Inventory Control
monitoring inventory levels to maintain pre-established quantities of parts;
receipts of deliveries of inventoried and non-inventoried goods for the department
conducting and assisting with periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy of reports
Meter Testing
performing meter testing and calibration of meters to ensure water meters meet both AWWA and PUC standards.
The work schedule for this position in Monday - Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. Qualifications: Licensure and educational requirements include:
Valid State Driver's License in good standing;
NH Distribution Operator Certification Level 1 or the ability to obtain this within one year.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience required:
Experience working in a stockroom or inventory control position.
Experience working in a public water system or NH DES Grade 1 Distribution certification is a plus.
Additional qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The proven ability to work effectively on their own or with a team.
Solid organizational skills
