Modern Grounds is looking for a Warehouse Manager / Job Site Delivery Assistant. The ideal candidate would have experience in warehouse and equipment management. Also, ability to drive truck with trailer to deliver materials to various job sites. Work ethic, leadership, reliability, and attention to detail are key to be successful.

Warehouse Hours: 7am to 3pm

Pay Range: $15 to $19

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

· Make sure nothing runs out of stock

· Update inventory management software weekly

· Order installation materials, tools and equipment as needed to keep field crews running smooth

· Keep warehouse stock organized and clean

Equipment Management

· Grease and maintain equipment (weekly) and trailers (monthly)

· Keeping track of service needed for trucks, trailers, machines & equipment

· Dropping off / picking up machines, equipment, etc. that needs service / maintenance / repair

Ordering & Receiving

· Responsible for receiving all shipments including turf and supplies

· Ordering and scheduling base materials & dumpsters for job sites

· Inform Tommy if we are having issues with turf not getting delivered

Driving & Delivery

· Driving truck to drop off items to job sites as needed

· Pulling trailers to deliver equipment, materials, or dump trash

· Must have clean driving record

· Must be able to pull and back up truck with trailer attached.

Other Duties

· Prepare materials and turf for all outgoing jobs. Schedule for upcoming week will be presented in Thursday morning meeting

· Keep warehouse & yard clean and organized

· Mark turf returned to warehouse from crews with type, job info came from & measurements

· 3rd Party Contractors – Accept orders, send invoices, and collect payment (before orders leave warehouse)

· Assist crews with loading material with the forklift and communicate any modifications to the job

Qualifications:

· Experience in inventory management

· Warehouse management

· Positive attitude

· Be proactive

· Maintain good communication with team, crews & vendors

· Able to lift 50lbs

· Basic computer skills (email, word, etc.)

· Experience operating forklift

· Self-Starter

· Clean driving record

· Understanding of hardscaping and/or landscaping preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
