Mobis Technical Center of North America is Hiring a Test Engineer Near Plymouth, MI
Objective:Device Environmental testing competency with project management skill baseKey Words:Responsible for understanding customer enivornmental testing specifications and requirements. Construct, monitor, and deliver results for validation plans and testing. Must have excellent communication skills, project management skills, strong interpersonal skills to work and lead projects effectively.Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for understanding environmental specifications and testing requirements
- Construct and execute environmental validation plan and testing
- Able to understand specifications and designs of Center Stack, HVAC, Heads Up Display, and Cluster systems
- Understand ISO environmental reliability requirements in conjunction with customer testing requirements
- Work with internal testing team to problem solve and root cause testing issues
- Communicate effectively with customer/client about status, changes, issues, solutions, and plans
- Prepare the technical documents and proposals outlined by customer processes and procedures
- Participate in reviews for test plans, conduct status meetings, and result submissions
- Responsible for documenting issue solution plan under customer required documentation
- Responsible for testing project management and project review with multiple teams
- Responsible for communication with HQ on test plans, status, issues and results
- Responsible for testing project management and project review with internal and customer teams (i.e. status updates, changes, issues, solutions, etc)
- Creation of documents to satisfy deliverables along the testing plan according to customers standards and procedures
- Review of issues list and testing status, and submit to client
- 2 to 4 years in environmental testing (vibration, electrical, thermal, etc)
- 1-3 years in project management
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Must have validation experience in environmental reliability testing
- Microsoft Office
- Experience with enivornmental testing (thermal, vibration, push/pull, electrical, etc)
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with teams effectively
- Must have experience with OEM vehicle development projects and processes
