Mobis Technical Center of North America is Hiring a Senior Legal Counsel Near Detroit, MI
- Advising on a variety of legal activities on issues such as employment (HR/Labor), antitrust, IP, commercial, global OE sales (car manufacturers), etc.
- Drafting, review and evaluation of contracts, and providing related support to business teams for further negotiations (NDA’s, Global OEM T&C’s, supply, sales, development and other service agreements)
- Managing and coordination of litigation/disputes
- Drafting, monitoring, and managing internal policies and procedures
- External counsel management (incl. legal cost)
- Compliance matters in coordination with Legal Department of HQ
Key tasks
- Legal Consultancy (30%)
- Review and negotiation of contracts (20%)
- Management/Coordination of Litigation/Disputes (10%)
- Legal Research/Trainings (10%)
- Compliance (25%)
- Immigration (5%)
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Strong organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Effective presentation skills
- Computer literacy
- Able to travel as required
- Experience in an corporate environment (manufacturing industry, automotive preferred)
