Law firm's Bay Area office seeks an experienced Patent Associate to assist clients with cutting-edge software technology including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Operating Systems, Networks, the Internet of Things and other EE/CS technologies.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Patent Office Actions Candidate will respond to office actions with the USPTO.
- Patent Drafting The ideal candidate will draft high-quality U.S. patent applications for major technology companies.
- Various non-pros work
- Interview inventors
- Perform prior art searches
- IP portfolio strategy
Qualifications and Skills
- Degrees Ideal candidates will have Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or similar degrees.
- 2 years of patent prosecution experience in EE/CS Arts.
- Superior grades.
- Outstanding writing ability is required.
- Industry experience is strongly preferred.
- CA State Bar preferred but other locations. USPTO admissions.
Anticipated Base Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range is $225,000-345,000 per year. Actual salary will depend on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience
