MMG is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist Near NY, NY
The person in this role will be directly supervised by the Billing Department Manager. Their primary focus will be accounts receivable, ensuring prompt collections of outstanding payments due to the firm.
Responsibilities
- Pull Accounts Payable Reports for aging accounts to guide collections efforts
- Contact and communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances and timeline for payment
- Locates, or assists in location, of hard to reach clients
- Receive all incoming payments, and manage deposits
- Properly allocate payments to the corresponding invoices
- Monitor deadlines and address follow-up tasks
- Utilize features of legal management software to maintain clients accounts
- Close cases in the legal management system when final bill amounts are collected
- Serve as point of contact for billing related inquiries
