We’re proud to be long-standing partners to brands like Google, Target, Netflix, Meta, lululemon, Delta Air Lines, and Dos Equis.

MKG has offices in NYC and LA. Candidates are expected to live within commuting distance of either office and be present for collaborative, in-person work Tues-Thurs.

MAJOR JOB OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role calls for an account executive with experience in social media strategy and management . In addition to the below job responsibilities directly related to servicing the Instagram account, this role will lead MKG social media strategy and execution (working closely with other departments to develop social assets). Please note, this role may be assigned to assist on other client business as-needed. 

This role will assist Senior Account Manager and Account Manager on all job functions, including but not limited to the following:

  • Builds integrated and inbound, multi-channel campaigns and experiences
  • Assists client in the management of the go-to-market project lifecycle including planning, program management, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, speaker outreach/prep, content development, email marketing and other core elements to successfully meet objectives
  • Establishes a regular operating cadence with cross-functional teams to track, communicate, and drive towards set program goals and KPIs. Identify key roadblocks to progress, and work efficiently to remove them
  • Independently manage cross-functional programs by developing detailed project plans with activity-based milestones. 
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and client cross-functional teams and agency partners from diverse functions. This is a highly cross-functional role, so a humble attitude and a high instinct for collaboration are essential
  • Serve as internal brand custodian, organizing and maintaining internal resources, effectively communicating brand guidelines, goals and expectations to resources within and outside the agency
  • Prepare meeting materials and author and circulate thorough notes for all status meetings and project related meetings
  • Prepare Workback Schedules, Speaker Briefs, and other necessary production documents to guide the lifecycle of the program
  • Establish, coordinate and enforce internal and external deadlines and deliverables
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of program objectives and KPIs to prove out success and keep team on track 
  • When in-person, traveling 25-30%

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Team Operations
    • Manage contracting process for agencies, partners and creators, submit POs and drive efficiency 
    • Take detailed notes updates to feed into various client documents
    • Templatize and help schedule agency onboardings with core and XFN teams as needed for community work specifically (brand intro, strategy, insights, etc.)
  • Project Management
    • Build workback schedules for all projects; distribute to core cross-functional teams and track progress across the team
    • Manage and organize asset delivery through client processes and systems
    • Schedule cross-functional and key meetings for planning - coordinate with leadership and sync up regular reviews to ensure alignment
      • Own meeting agendas (planning decks to share out updates) and notes with distribution for internal meetings
    • Manage and update central planning matrix and Google Drive folder
    • Oversee and ensure cross-functional teams comms/updates are included in group threads in real-time
    • Distribute key assets to C C team and broader partners
    • Help start WP posts and collate updates from cross - functional teams

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years of work experience involving social media management, project management, digital marketing campaign and/or event production (physical & virtual), and client management
  • Experience producing content, digital-based and experiential activations is required
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently drive simple scalable solutions to solve complex problems
  • Stellar project management skills and a track record of planning, executing, and delivering results for complex and cross-functional technical projects
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Interpersonal and inter-team skills, including partnership building, mentorship, and conflict resolution within a diverse, cross-functional team
  • Proven experience presenting business and technical content, and complex analytical results to peers and general audiences in a clear and concise manner 
  • Knowledge of organizational dynamics, change management, and process improvement
  • Communication experience with story-telling and presentations utilizing tools such Google Slides
  • Have an interest in keeping up with the latest industry trends and creators
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to think creatively about a variety of challenges and apply organizational skills accordingly
  • Proficient in using, Google Suite, Outlook 

Salary Description

$65,000-$78,000 annually

 ***This is the minimum maximum base salary that we, in good faith, are willing to pay at the time of the posting. Salary commensurate with experience.
