Mizuho Americas Services LLC is Hiring a Compensation Analyst Near New York, NY

Seeking a highly motivated HR/Finance compensation analyst to assist in all areas of compensation practices, including, but not limited to, working with external consultants on survey data and market trends, working with division heads and HRBPs on compensation guidelines for new hires and assisting compensation managers with tracking and reporting of compensation updates throughout the year and the year end compensation process. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): Tracking and reporting of deferred compensation (cash and equity based), commissions, reconciliations and mid year compensation changes Monthly accounting entries including benefit, bonus and deferred bonus accruals, payroll bookings and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with Front Office year end compensation process Liaise with external compensation consultants and internal talent acquisition team on market data Assist in preparation of quarterly management reporting Compensation Committee materials Ad-hoc requests and projects Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years or more experience in HR Compensation or Compensation Accounting based roles (preferred but not required) Workday Experience (preferred but not required) Excellent excel skills General accounting knowledge The expected base salary ranges from $65,000.00 - $75,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
