Summary This position supports the global rewards team in the day-to-day administration, analysis and communication of programs and policies related to employee benefits. This is a hybrid role working a mixture of in office in Chesterfield and remote at home if desired each week. Job Responsibilities & Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Responsible for the day-to-day administration of all Medical, Dental, Life, Vision, Disability, 401(k), FMLA, Section 125 and supplemental benefit plans. · Act as daily contact with vendors – Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party providers that facilitate high service levels, streamline processes and ensure compliance standards are met · Process qualified QMSCO orders in required benefits; communicate to the state or municipality. · Assist employees with general benefits questions, claims processing issues, and related resources. Work with carriers to resolve escalated customer situations. Recommend and/or provide training as needed. · Reviews and submits invoices for payment for vendor premiums, claims and fees as required · Assist with annual open enrollment process - including HRIS system setup, benefit changes, communication, eligibly file transmissions, etc. · Participate in documentation of benefits for HRIS team, performs user acceptance testing for any system changes. · COBRA, HSA and FSA Administration. · Assist Director of Benefits with executive benefit programs. · Preview Summary Plan Documents (SPDs) and Summary of Benefit Coverage (SBCs) and other materials from carrier’s development to ensure accuracy of benefits. · Coordinate with the 401k vendor on enrollments and plan provision compliance. · Appropriately maintain employee benefit files in accordance with HIPAA. · Support administration of all STD, LTD, FMLA and other Leave Programs with vendor. · Assist with the documentation and communication of benefit guidance, training, and policy interpretation to HR Business Partners as required. · Provide benefits support to expats and employees relocating · Analyze and prepare data for reporting and presentations as needed · Assist Director of Benefits in development and documentation of policies and procedures. · Provide assistance to vendors to ensure compliance with 5500’s, ACA forms, etc. · Assist with recognition program as needed · Provide input for efficiency improvements in procedures. SKILLS & ABILITIES: · 3 years of experience with employee benefit plans · Strong understanding of ERISA and ACA (compliance, reporting, etc.) · Strong communication skills – verbal and print · Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of all levels, vendors and other customers as needed · Analytical and problem-solving skills · Strong Microsoft Office skills PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s degree and CEBS certification preferred · Knowledge of global (non-US) benefits preferred · Experience with Workday HRIS preferred MiTek is an E-Verify and Drug and Tobacco-Free Workplace.
