We’re currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our Headquarters team!In this role you will be a critical team member helping with the leadership and close process of the accounting function. What you will do:Manage and review close activities, compliance with GAAP and ensure accuracy of monthly financial results.Coach, mentor and lead up to three Staff Accountants.Lead project management for key department initiatives, i.e., COA clean up, implementation of new reporting software.Identify and improve key controls to ensure Mister is SOX compliant, coordinating with the Senior Director of Internal Audit.Ensure completion of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations across the department, and resolution of significant items. How you will shine:At least 5 years’ experience in accounting and reporting in a corporation and/or national accounting Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related fieldExperience in retail, restaurants, or other multi-unit consumer services company highly regarded.Experience in a fast paced, growing mid-sized company.
